The Department of Public Works has the most frequent contact with Village residents. Garbage collection and recycling programs are done weekly; heavy trash collection begins in May and continues into the Fall. Sewer and water system repair and maintenance is on both a regularly scheduled and emergency basis. Leaf collection is a three season job and snow removal is fast and efficient. Village residents are justifiably proud of the quality and courteous service provided by a dedicated Department of Public Works.
