The Village of Colonie Youth and Family Services Department provides and maintains for the residents 27 acres of recreational fields and parks. The Village consists of one main park, Cook Park, and three mini parks, Milton Park, Bauer Park and Locust Park. For more information on scheduling events or picnics at the Cook Park facility, call Brian Casey at 518-218-7782. The Village of Colonie Youth and Family Services Department provides fields for Colonie Little League and Colonie Babe Ruth. The Village also provides recreation pavilions for Village residents. Everyone is urged to visit Cook Park, one of the area’s finest multi-purpose recreational areas. Cook Park offers facilities for cookouts, family picnics, softball, soccer, volleyball, and other sports.
